Student Organizations

The Gerontology Club is open to any undergraduate or graduate student at UNC Charlotte with an interest in Gerontology.  The club meets jointly with Gamma Psi, our local chapter of Sigma Phi Omega (SPO), the international gerontology honor society. Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to be inducted into SPO and we hold an annual induction in the spring. To be invited, undergraduates must have an overall grade point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. Graduate students must have an overall grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.  All students must have completed one full semester as a declared gerontology student at UNC Charlotte to be considered for induction.

Meetings are held monthly. Join us to discuss the numerous volunteer opportunities and plans for this semester. Hope to see you there!
